Voter Registration: Wednesday, March 11th, 2020

Bring your Licence/Permit OR know the last FOUR digits of your Social Security Number

Brody Eggert, President

On Wednesday, March 11th, 2020. A group of East Hampton High School Students, in conjunction with the League of Women Voters of the Hamptons, will be having a table outside of the Cafeteria to register students to vote! Even though you may not vote until you are 18, it is necessary to register early (in New York, you can pre-register at 16, 17, or 18) so you can vote as soon as you turn 18. There are the Democratic and Republican party primaries on April 18th. However, to vote in these elections, you MUST register with the political party you plan on voting in the primary with. You can also register as an independent. However, you will not be able to vote in any primary elections. To prepare for the voter registration day, you must bring your driver’s license/permit OR know the last FOUR digits of your social security number. There will be a student attendant at the booth to help if needed. Once you finish filling out the form, the attendant will make sure it’s filled out correctly and then collect it from you.
