Congratulations to Montauk’s own Chase Lieder, who won first place in the Open Longboard Event at the NSSA (National Scholastic Surfing Association) Championships in Nags Head, North Carolina. According to his mother, Lourdes Lieder,  “This is the first time they had their Nationals on the East Coast. We are very proud of him.” We’re all proud of you, Chase!
