Bonac “Fall” Sports Season Wrap-Up

A quick recap of an amazing season from Athletic Director Joe Vas.

Bonac Teams had an amazing “fall” season with impressive wins and tremendous effort from all of our athletes! Here are some highlights:

Boys Cross Country- The Boys won the League Title and finished 4th in the County Championship Meet. Great Job guys!

Girls Cross Country- The Girls won the Division 4 Championship and finished 3rd in the County ChampionshipChampiosnhip meet.

Girls Swimming- Finished 9th out of 26 Schools in Section XI. The Girls worked hard this year and established many individual and team accomplishments

Golf- Competing for the County Title. Congratulations to James Bradley, who won the Individual Overall Championship!

Boys Soccer- Lost in the County Finals in a hard-fought game vs. Harborfields 1-0.

Field Hockey- Made the playoffs for the first time in a few years rounding out a terrific season.

Football- Was able to field a Varsity and JV team for the first time in 4 years. The Varsity won their last game in a thriller to notch their first win on their road back.

Girls Tennis – The Team won the Sportsmanship Award this year and worked hard to continue to be a quality program in the League. Juliana Barahona and Sandrine Becht each made All-State placing 3rd in the counties.

Girls Soccer and Girls Volleyball completed their seasons missing the playoff but worked hard all year.

Unfortunately, Boys Volleyball were not able to complete their season due to Covid.
